Can forex robots be profitable?
A forex robot can produce profitable periods, but automation itself does not create an edge and historical profitability does not establish future profitability.

Separate possibility from expectation
The relevant evidence is not whether an EA has ever produced a profitable backtest. Ask whether the strategy has robust, attributable results; whether costs and execution are realistic; and whether its drawdown fits the capital at risk.
What a buyer can control
You can control how carefully you verify claims, the amount of capital exposed, risk settings, whether you test first, and whether you stop when observed behavior no longer matches the assumptions behind the strategy.
